After the catalogs and shelves filled floor to ceiling with books, room and another, and another; appeared before my eyes the yard. Después de los catálogos, las estanterias de piso a techo repletas de libros, una sala y otra, y otra más; apareció ante mis ojos el patio. Sobrio, casi austero, sólo había un banco y frente a él el cartel. Con sólo leerlo me dí cuenta que no se necesitaba nada más.

Five o´clock tea

A street snapshot. This dog was not lost. His owner was walking and decided to bring something for tea-time.

He gave his pet a mordillo, and before closing the glass door of the bakery he hooked the pet leash to the door. The  dog owner entered to the shop, while it waited patiently for his return  ... It happened a sunny spring afternoon in the neighborhood of Palermo, Buenos Aires city. 

Una instantánea callejera. Este perro no estaba perdido. Su dueño paseaba y decidió llevar algo para la hora del té.

Le dio a su mascota un mordillo, y antes de cerrar la puerta vidriada de la panadería enganchó la correa a la puerta mientras su mascota esperó pacientemente el  regreso de su dueño ... sucedió una tarde soleada de primavera, en el barrio porteño de Palermo.

River Plate Sunset

A  sunset can arouse beautiful feelings.

That afternoon I was  crossing River Plate in ferry. It was windy. When I went on deck, I found other surprise. Many people trying to take a photo, and many others were sick...One coin , two sides.

Un atardecer puede despertar hermosos sentimientos. 

Esa tarde, en ferry cruzando el Río de la Plata estaba muy ventoso. Cuando subí a cubierta , me encontré con otra sorpresa. Muchos tratando de tomar una foto y otros más descompuestos por el movimiento... Dos caras de una misma moneda.

Exotic garden

Every spring I look for a excuse to stop by the house that has this exotic garden. I wait for the moment to see these wonderful land orchids flowered in lilac.

Todas las primaveras busco un excusa para pasar por la casa que tiene este exótico jardín. Espero ansiosa el momento para ver florecidas estas maravillosas orquídeas de tierra.

La Feria del Libro en la ciudad de Buenos Aires es un acontecimiento cultural excepcional. Cada año la visitan miles de personas.

Él estaba ahí, prácticamente en la entrada, con su presencia austera no llamaba la atención. Pasé varias veces y no lo ví. Pero,el último día a la salida mirando sin intecion lo reconocí.

Despúes de leer el título, repasando el editor que decía Companía de Jesús ... tratando de leer los números lo descubrí. "Uno de los primeros libros impresos en el Río de la Plata por los monjes Jesuitas con la única imprenta que hubo en estas tierras". ¡Un Tesoro!

The Book Fair in Buenos Aires city is a unique cultural event. Every year, thousands of people visit it.

He was there, almost at the entrance,with its austere presence.It did not attract attention. I went several times and I  did not see it. But the last day to exit looking without intention, I recognized it.

After reading the title, publisher reviewing the Company of Jesus  ... trying to read the numbers I found.I realized it was one of the first books printed in the River Plate by Jesuits monks in the only press that was in these lands. ¡A treasure!.

Pop art

A summer moment on the riverside, today it could be Pop Art.We may not need to slide or ink 'screen printing only a mobile or tablet. Fabulous! That is all. Look the results.

Un momento de verano junto al río , hoy puede ser Pop Art. No necesitamos de diapositivas ni tintas para serigrafía, sólo un móvil o una tablet.¡Fabuloso! : eso es todo. Miren los resultados.

Pretty pram

Nowadays, old objects are used in decoration. It is called "vintage style".

A day when I was walking the hallway of a hotel, I found it.

I was amazed : a pretty pram, made in handcrafted iron.

With tenderness, I think of the baby who had a ride a sunny day...

Actualmente se utilizan objetos viejos en la decoración,lo que se denomina "estilo vintage".

Recorriendo el pasillo de un hotel hacia las habitaciones lo encontré. Me asombró, desconocía un objeto así : un precioso cochecito para bebé , hecho en hierro. Me dio ternura pensar que niño paseo alguna vez un día soleado.

Tango

On Sunday I saw "scent of a woman." I like the dancing tango scene,the climate they create...

The actors dance the tango "by a head".It  is hard to believe ,that such a song identified with Argentina,is part of a film  of such a different culture.

El domingo volví a ver "perfume de mujer". Me gusta la escena donde se baila el tango "Por una cabeza", el clima  que crean los personajes...

Me emociona que una canción tan identificada con Argentina forme parte de una película de una cultura tan diferente.
